Ранее статистиками (statista) называли государственных деятелей. После переименования «Государствоведения» в «Статистику» статистиком стали называть человека, который занимается сбором, обработкой, анализом и предоставлением статистической информации.

Статистические данные, которым можно доверять

Собственная статистическая служба есть практически во всех странах мира. Чтобы сведения были объективны и релевантны вне зависимости от континента, мировая статистика строится на основополагающих принципах ООН — они зафиксированы резолюцией 68/261.

В апреле 2021 года пройдет первая цифровая Всероссийская перепись населения. Помимо традиционного способа — общения с переписчиком — ответить на вопросы можно будет на портале «Госуслуги», в центрах «Мои документы» и на стационарных переписных участках.

 

Статистики очень сильно обижаются, если их называют «статистами». Статист – это актер, исполняющий роли без слов, он просто присутствует на сцене или в кадре, создавая видимость непустого пространства вокруг действующих лиц. А статистики ежедневным трудом доказывают, что они создают новое пространство вокруг себя за счет решений, которые принимает руководство стран на основании их цифр.
